Jessica Kelly SiobhanReilly Bio

Jessica Kelly Siobhan Reilly is an English actress from England. Her role in After Miss Julie, at the Donmar Warehouse (2003 - 2004) was nominated for an Laurence Olivier Award. Her credits on film and television include Eden Lake (2008), Sherlock Holmes (2009, and Yellowstone). Reilly was the daughter of Jack Kelly, a former police officer, as well as a hospital receptionist mother. She went to Tolworth Girls' School in Kingston where she took classes in drama for GCSE. Her grandparents are Irish. Reilly wrote to the Prime Suspect's production team asking to be considered for a role. Six months later, she auditioned for a role in Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circle. The episode was broadcast on ITV 7 May, 1995. She played Kathleen Le Saux in 1996's episode of the period drama show "Bramwell". Six years later, she was again with Helen Mirren in Last Orders. She collaborated with Terry Johnson on four productions that included Elton John's Glasses (1997), The London Cuckolds (1998), The Graduate (2000) and Piano/Forte (2006). Johnson wrote Piano/Forte and stated she thought Kelly was "possibly the most natural, dyed in-the-wool deep-inthe-bone actress I've ever had the pleasure of working with". Reilly has claimed that she learned the most as an actor from Karel Reisz, who directed her in The Yalta Game in Dublin in 2001. She said, "He was my masterclass." Without the play there's no way I would have accomplished what I did with Miss Julie.
