Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7 1998) popularly referred to as MrBeast is an American YouTube personality, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is famous for his inventing YouTube videos that feature expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in early 2012 at 13 years old under the handle "MrBeast6000"; his early content ranged from Let's Plays to "videos estimating the riches of other YouTubers." The YouTuber became famous in 2017 when his "Counting to 100,000" video garnered tens to thousands of views in a matter of days. Donaldson recruited several old friends to assist him in managing the growing popularity of the brand after it was established. MrBeast is Donaldson's main YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July 2022.
